You’re planning your big day, and you have many tough decisions to make when preparing for your wedding day, you have made a list of what you need to focus on in regards to wedding services, wedding limos, wedding cakes, wedding invitations and of course choosing a wedding DJ, are very important decisions and one wrong choice could damper the entire evening.

When making all the decisions above there are many variables to consider before making the right decision, here are some things to consider when you contact DJ’s in your area.

There are 1000’s of DJ’s in the General Toronto & Surrounding areas, and each one is competing against the next for your business, Some things to look for when choosing a wedding DJ is first to see how he or she conducts themselves professionally. A DJ is no different from any other salesperson so they should be well-groomed, according to their industry of course to represent your wedding party in style. Another thing to look for is affordability, and it is this that plays into your advantage. Avoid large services as they often have very in-experienced but expensive DJ’s; sure they have lots of money to spend on lights and equipment but what about the most important thing the music???  Let’s not forget they have large overhead costs, therefore they have to get as much $$$ out of their clients as possible anyway they can get it, With so many DJs out there in the GTA and surrounding area, you can be choosy, so don’t be afraid to find out how much and to let them know about your budget, ask them how long they have been a DJ make sure you are getting a DJ with years of experience, When you talk to them make sure that it is them you are getting and not someone who has only been In the business a few short years.

A wedding DJ should be willing to work with you and be available to answer your questions on the drop of a dime. Most experienced DJ’s are full of great ideas to help you, your family and friends have a memorable time.

Cheap DJ's - Although there are good affordable DJ's out there; couples need to be very wary of what they expect and what they ask for. There are all kinds of DJ’s that go on website claiming to do Weddings for $400 or $500. These kind of DJ’s are known as “basement DJ’s” although they claim to have experience, in most cases they have very little, They have a hard drive full of down loaded music and cheap equipment, but most of all they don’t have the knowledge of music and the personality to get your crowd up and moving.

That is why JD DJ Services, specializes in a rare combination of service, affordability and tonnes of great music. We understand how important your wedding day is for you and how important it is to have everything working properly, so let the worry of a DJ for the night be alleviated with JD DJ Services. How Important Is The DJ?

AFTER THE WEDDING...

More than 70% of all brides say they would have spent more time choosing their DJ.
Almost 100% say they would have spent more of their budget on the DJ.
During wedding planning, brides say their highest priority is their attire, reception site
and caterer. Within one week after their reception, 78% of brides say they would have
made the entertainment their highest priority! When asked 81% of guests say the
thing they remember most about a wedding is the entertainment. CAUTION: Whether it was
good or bad!!! Don't judge your DJ on price alone. Keep in mind you get what you pay
for when shopping around. Don’t allow your day to be a horror story with DJ based on
price alone. Meet and get to know your DJ before you settle. What they bring to the
table can mean the difference between the worst event of the year or the best!
Even if it’s not me, make sure your DJ fits your needs not just your wallet!
